Description: This is an excellent original period piece. Condition is used. This is a very nice if not exceptional piece of trench art. It is made from a hammered expansion ring from an artillery projectile. It is labeled Argonne for the forest in France and is figurally in the form of a German sawback bayonet. The final touch is a German button at the cross guard. One of the best letter openers we have ever seen. Please look at the pictures and please ask any questions.
