Description: This is a WW1 era knife that was used by the French in the early stages of the war. There were a number of different styles of knife either civilian procured or military issued and many were butcher style knives like this one. Has a blade length of about 6 3/4” and an overall length of about 11 1/4”, knife is in great shape and very sharp. Full tang, wood scales with single brass rivet, aluminum guard and butt, everything is tight and firm.
