Description: MIC/PTT Adapter by W2ENY Wired for your Elecraft KX2 KX3 and your Yamaha CM-500 Headset Some have contacted me about using the Yamaha CM-500 headset with their radio. I went and got one to do the design with and after a couple weeks it's done for the KX2/KX3. This adapter plugs directly into your KX3 radio's Microphone jack and accesses DC bias (for the CM500 mic element), Mic input and PTT connection (switch sold separately or use yours wired tip/sleeve). Menu Set: MIC Bias ON and MIC BTN for PTT. While my headsets work real well, some want to spend a little more for a pro look. With my adapter listed here, you can do that. This listing does not include a headset, it is only for the MIC/PTT adapter to fit the Yamaha CM-500.
