Description: Today I am offering this fabulous vintage Royal Albert "September" flower of the month tea cup & saucer set. This series was introduced in the early 1970s. It is highlighted with a beautiful array of purple Michaelmas Daisy flowers and green foliage. It's trimmed in metallic gold. Inside the rim it reads "September" in elaborate gold font accompanied by a spray of the featured flowers. It's very fancy! The cup is approximately 3" tall and about 3" across the top. Including the handle it's approximately 4" wide. The saucer is approximately 5" wide. This set is in excellent pre-owned vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, loss of color, or loss of gold gilding, or other damage.
