Description: This is a late 1980s, perhaps very early 90s Nicaraguan pro-FSLN, Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional/Sandinista National Liberation Front party. The shirt is emblazoned with the colors of the FSLN, and says "Ganamos: toda séra mejor!" or loosely: Our win will make everything better. Historically important, this shirt was likely made for the 1990 election, in which FSLN lost control of the country for the first time since 1979, mostly due to US/Reagan interference, directly through the election, and of course via The Contras. This timing is further confirmed by the photo included in this listing, of the billboard using the same font and slogan as this shirt. The shirt is double sided, with the same slogan on the front, printed across the back. The shirt is (unusually) made in Nicaragua, by 'TTT' and is single stitched on the hem and sleeves. The shirt is also incredibly boxy and cropped - it could easily fit up to an XL, but would be comically cropped. Given the measurements, it's likely best to be worn as somewhere between a medium and a large, be sure to check the measurements below before purchasing. A truly historical relic, and one that is all the more relevant given the status of Nicaragua, Daniel Ortega, and FSLN today.
