Description: The Pineapple Christmas Ornament is an adaptation from an ornately carved pineapple motif found above the door of the Nicholas-Wanton-Hunter House in Historic Newport, Rhode Island. The Newport Pineapple adaptation was authorized by The Preservation Society of Newport County, Rhode Island. The brass piece was sandcast and hand polished by the artisans and craftsmen of Virginia Metalcrafters. Never removed from original box.
