Description: Vintage W.m. S. Haynes Closed Hole Flute Haynes is the Gold Standard of Flute Makers in the United States, and this vintage flute is no exception to the quality associated with the brand. We looked up the serial number and discovered that this flute was likely made on March 10th, 1950 - and was likely considered a “regular” model. This Flute is in good repair, though there are a few minor scuffs due to use and age. There is a number 7 stamped beneath the trademark. It comes with the original hard case and a cleaning rod.Best we can tell it has drawn toneholes and a C-Foot joint.This lovely flute does show some signs of its 70 years, it has been handled and played so the finish is not perfect, but there are no visible dents or dings that we could see.As far as we can tell, most collectors seem to think that 1950-1965 was Haynes Golden Era.Hopefully this is the vintage flute you have been looking for. We are not the first owners of this 70 year-old flute and do not know its full history. Thanks for Looking!
