Description: Selling this vintage West Germany Boys Axe at 2.25 lbs. 26 inches overall length. Head blade edge is about 4 inches. Head length is about 6 inches or so. Vintage handle that might be usable. You will have to evaluate that. It is a nice slim handle from back in the day.This axe shows some use, but not much abuse. No cracks or chips. Handle does show some cracks, but feels pretty solid. It swings pretty nice. Might want to replace handle if you want to give it heavy use. Nice shape to the axe head. Stamped W. Germany and the weight at 2 1/4. No other markings that I can see. This would make a nice compact Overlanding / Outback / Bushcraft axe for field use. Has a great aged look to it.
