There is something that is on the interior of that eyepiece that obstructs part of the eyepiece -- please see photos 7 and 8 -- however, when your eye is against the eyepiece the view is clear and unobstructed. *Note: The actual color of the kaleidoscope is brown, not the reddish color seen in the photos.
