Description: Vintage Tamiya Rough Rider 1979 Completely Original With Futaba Electrics. Model 58015 SRB chassis. The original RC buggy. It doesn’t get any more original than this first release Rough Rider with original working radio. The Tamiya Buggy Champ was released in 2009 as the rerelease to this iconic RC car. The rear plastic motor guard is broken, but otherwise in very good used condition. Please look closely at the pictures to asses condition accurately. Sold as is with no warranty and no returns. Needs 12 AA batteries for the radio to work, and a 7.2v main battery for the car. The original Tamiya battery that’s included does not work and is for display purposes only. Comes with original accessories box with original sticker decals, spare parts (notice the extremely hard to find plastic ball socket), and tools. What a magical time capsule this is.
