Description: This is a PAPER sewing pattern for a show-stopping 1927 couture evening gown. The original pattern was designed by famed couture house Drecoll. This wonderful design features two versions that can be sewn in sleeveless or short-sleeved versions. The front has a deep v-neck and a vestee insert that can be made from lace, net, or contrasting fabric. The skirt is longer at back and may be faced with contrasting colors or bound. It joins the bodice at a geometric point at the hips. The back has two neckline options including rounded or asymmetrical shapes. If made from light-weight cotton, it can also be worn as a day dress. See the second photo for full fabric suggestions. In a hurry? This pattern is also available for instant download from our website! Difficulty Level: Intermediate/ advanced.
