Description: This is an original vintage poster produced in 1933 by renowned poster artist Roger Perot (1907-1976). It was owned by my late mother and we don't have room for the piece and are looking for someone who will treasure it as we have. The poster is priced competitively and far below the market rate of $1800 for the poster only, not including a frame. The work is a beautiful example of Art Deco style and was created as an advertisement for the French company, Corsets Le Furet. The poster features a model posing against a background of stylized ferrets and reads “Corsets Le Furet , the dream of women.” It was framed in the 1980s and has been extremely well-cared for. The condition of the poster is Near Mint defined as: "A poster in near mint condition may have minor imperfections in the border only. The artwork is in excellent condition with no blemishes whatsoever." according to https://www.authenticvintageposters.com/pages/poster-grading. There are minor blemishes on the bottom edge of the border that do not extend into the artwork. They are not very noticable but can be seen in the photos of the listing. If desired, the piece could be reframed to crop out the blemishes but they have not bothered us as owners. This is an original poster and not a reproduction. It has been professionally framed and is a wonderful piece for any home. It's preferred that this is local pickup as it is such a large item and I am also happy to coordinate on delivery in the Los Angeles area.
