Description: Vintage Ellgreave Wood & Sons England Ironstone 4 cup tea carafe 1960s Description: An alpine white teapot with gold trim in a floral motif – yellow, purple and blue flowers with green leaves. Smaller pattern on the back. Maker’s Mark: See photos. 822 painted on the bottom. A 3 embossed on the bottom. Dimensions: 5” diameter. 5” tall including lid. 4” tall without lid. 9” wide from spout. Capacity 4 cups. Condition: GOOD: Shows minor signs of wear and use commensurate with age but still very attractive. One small chip on the top rim. One chip on the spout. Both are visible in photos. Interior and exterior crazing. Otherwise, No utensil marks, cracks, scratches, or staining. Please enlarge and examine all photos for a complete condition assessment.
