Description: Vintage 1969 Sony STR-6040 Solid State AM/FM Stereo Receiver Japan TESTED ✅ Receiver has been tested by myself personally, and is in good working condition. Was able to successfully play music through my phone connected to the receivers AUX 1 output, and heard sound coming clearly from both speaker channels. Receiver is in fair condition cosmetically, showing some signs of age-related wear around its exterior. All dials and switches along the front of the unit feel rigid as they should, and respond appropriately to their designated actions when controlled. Most notable flaw about this unit would be that a couple of the switches along the front face are slightly bent, in addition to the knob for the treble adjustment dial being missing. It is also worth mentioning that a fair amount of damage has been inflicted onto the antenna along the back side, which is currently being held into its proper position using tape.
