Description: Sold as is due to age but please read description carefully to understand how rare this is as it is in my opinion quite a collector's piece if you are into anything regarding standard oil company. This is a Vintage original roll of 8 mm color film that actually even has a magnetic strip on the side for audio that it has as well making it especially rare of a type of 8 mm film format. Most 8 mm film doesn't have sound as far as I'm aware. This item was found at a very old standard oil bulk plant in Indiana. Due to the age this film is sold as is. I had it digitized a few years ago. This video clip should give you an idea of what condition it is in. As you can see in the film, a lot of the blue and greens had faded over the decades. I highly suspect this may be the only copy of this physical film left in the world. The original film reel had been replaced with a newer More modern and safer one after it was digitized by a professional. https://youtu.be/pg0dEf6afDk?si=QSisw8Ige0iQYyFL This is a rare find for collectors of vintage films! A training film from the 1965 Standard Oil Company, presented in stunning 8mm format. The film showcases the company's history and culture, and includes rare footage of oil rigs and refineries. It's a must-have for anyone interested in vintage photography and film, or those who appreciate the history of the oil industry. Don't miss out on the chance to own this unique piece of history!
