Description: This is a "Used" Viewsat ULTRA VS2000 Digital Satellite Receiver Tested and Working. This is an older unit and does not have HDMI out, but does have Composite RCA and Component RCA and Coax F Connector outputs and also has a Loop Out to feed to a 2nd receiver and an Off Air Antenna Input, so you can easily switch from Satellite to OTA Antenna. Receiver also supports S/PDIF and S Video and has an RS232 Port. I did not find a way to edit the Satellite names, so I used the name of a satellite that used to be at 97 degrees West, Intelsat 5. Intelsat 5 was replaced with Galaxy 19 a few years back. The receiver does not care what satellite name you use, as long as you have all of the antenna settings correct to match the electronics on your satellite dish. I set the LNB to Standard 10750 and scanned in the FTA (Free To Air) channels from Galaxy 19, using a 90CM Satellite dish with a Standard Ku LNBF. Tested and working. This can work with the older TV sets that don't have HDMI inputs, as it has coax cable out as well as the Red, White and Yellow RCA composite connections. Includes Satellite Receiver, Remote Control and 1 set of RCA Composite Cables. Please note that while this unit has an OTA antenna input, it does not have a Digital ATSC Tuner in it. You need a Satellite Dish of at least 80CM's in size to connect this receiver to. If you need channels programmed in from another satellite, just ask and we can delete the channels from Galaxy 19 and scan in the channels you want. It does not have a Manual with it, but it is available on line at Manual Libs. You will just need to do a search.
