Also included is a piece of beeswax for sealing the diaphragm and needle arm connection. This is THE best diaphragm gasket tubing available. It measures 3/32" (outside diameter) and is very soft, just like the original Victor, HMV, Silvertone and other companies original gaskets. The thickness is ideal and the color is comparable to that of many original rubber gaskets. The rubber is supple, lightweight, and easily compress to create a firm seal around the diaphragm edges when they are installed. This is the same gasket material that I am supplying with all of my Victor Exhibition rebuild kits. Do not confuse this with the harder plastic tubing that is often sold for gaskets!
