Description: This is an unsearched lot of over 500 copper pennies - $5 face value available for purchase. These are mostly Lincoln Memorial coins with possible Wheats or Canadians and the one cents in these lots were minted between the years 1909 and 1982 in the United States and may include wheats or Canadians. Lincoln coins are circulated and have not been graded or certified. The strike type is business and the fineness is 0.95. The mint locations are P, D, and S. The color of the coins may vary and include BN, RB, and RD. This lot is perfect for collectors of small cents and US coins. You are purchasing mostly Lincoln Copper cents with the possibility of some Wheaties and Canadian copper cents mixed in as well. Since these are unsearched I am adding some extra pennies just in case there may have been a zinc type post 1982 coin that somehow got through the sorting process with the Ryedale sorting machine 15 years ago. This lot includes 500 bulk copper pennies with a possible mix of wheat cents. The pennies are circulated and have a strike type of business. They were minted between 1909 and 1982 in the United States with a fineness of 0.95. The coins have not been graded or certified. The mint location includes P, D, and S. The color of the coins may vary between brown, red-brown, and red. These unsearched coins are a great addition to any coin collection and can be used for various crafting projects.I searched bank boxes in 2010 with a Ryedale penny sorter separating .95% copper cents averaging 3.1 grams from the zinc cents weighing up to 2.5 grams. There are possibly some wheat cents and or copper Canadian cents containing .98% copper each included in these unsearched batches. I added some extra coins in each batch to make sure you get at least a full 500 + copper cents. These have been stored in sealed plastic empty coffee containers for over a decade and remain totally unsearched for special dates, mint marks, higher grades or error coins. The pictures are just a standard sampling of what you may find. At todays date of March, 2024, the current copper melt value of these copper cents is $.0253 per coin. Some experts are saying that someday sooner than later the USMint will end circulating one cent coins and possibly five cent nickel coins; making it legal to sell to refinerys for melting value of the metals used to mint them. This will immediately create much higher collector value on some of these coins. Let me know how many 500+ count batches of these coins you would like to have. I will adjust the shipping by combining the lots.
