The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The all season compound and the asymmetric tread design increase the year round performing safety. The detailed tread elements greatly improve the grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather conditions by providing additional biting edges while the tires are in motion. The stronger compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, increasing the summer and winter weather performance. The tread design's groove placement avoids hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet weather performance. The model utilizes the Ologic technology which manages to greatly reduce the rolling resistance. This is achieved by combining the larger diameter tire with a narrow tread pattern to decrease the energy loss during its performance. The rolling resistance, which regulates the vehicle's fuel intake needed, is significantly lowered as the tire does not deform and still optimizes the surface contact with a smaller contact area.
