Description: Have decided to sell my Scruggs that I've had in my collection for quite a while, trying to make room for a new cue. I purchased the cue a while back and have only shot with it a handful of times. The cue is definitely a player but is still in fantastic condition with no major flaws and just a few blemishes from regular play it's picked up throughout the years. Unfortunately I don't know much about the cue's history, but it is a beautiful stained birds eye maple cue with a stainless steel joint and constructed in '97 as seen on the butt cap. From playing just a short while with this cue it's immediately understood why Tim Scruggs ranks among the top respected cue builders of all time, this cue hits very solid. As you can see in the video, the butt of the cue rolls straight and weighs in at 14.8oz The cue comes with two original shafts, one has been highly played with and measures 11.8mm just beneath the ferrule. In an effort to stiffen this shaft up, I applied an extra coat of shaft sealer to it and think it plays fantastic instead of being so whippy. The other shaft has only been test hit a few times by myself and measures in at 12.8mm just beneath the ferrule. The thinner shaft rolls straight and the full shaft has a slight taper roll to it but the tip stays flat. The thinner shaft has a very hard pressed elk master on it and the thicker shaft has some type of single layer tip as well, plenty of play left on both of the tips. Overall, the cue weighs in at 18.7oz. If you have any more questions about or would like any other pictures of the cue, just shoot me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Thanks for looking!!
