The banknote has a color combination of green and brown. Its obverse features Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) wearing the uniform of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. It also shows the Royal Garuda emblem and the royal seal. The reverse depicts five people kneeling before Rama IX and Queen Sirikit. It also displays Queen Sirikit and Rama IX examining a map, the Royal Garuda emblem, and the Bhumibol dam on the Ping River. The banknote contains a solid security thread with demetalized 1000 and Thai text and a watermark that reveals Queen Sirikit and the Thai symbol “Phum Khow Bin”. It is 166 x 80 mm in size and is signed by Panat Simasathien and Vijit Supinit. This commemorative banknote is in uncirculated condition.
