Description: Vintage Technics SL-1200 Direct Drive Turntable. Condition is used, As Is, As Found. Have not attempted to clean or alter in any way. I'm not sure of the exact year. Believe it to be early 1970's, first gen of SL-1200. Cosmetically looks good. Dust cover does have scratches and scuffs typical of age and wear(see pics). Appears to have not been altered or modified, best I can tell. Play tested well, I didn't notice any issues. Stylus is a Shure M110HE of unknown age and use. Seemed to work well. In pics under the platter, you will see a sticker with 2 screws. These will be placed in appropriate slots for transportation to avoid damage. I'm not sure what they actually do, as the platter still moves when they are inserted. These will need to be removed and placed back in the appropriate place for storage, before use. All and all, it seems like a great vintage turntable to add to your setup or collection!! What you see is what you get!! Please see pics for more detail, as that is a large part of description!!
