Description: Vintage Saint Mary's Academy, Los Angeles cup and saucer. Made of heavy restaurant ware vitrified china. Blue and gold stripe and St. Mary's Academy seal on both cup and saucer. ** There is a smear of silver paint on the cup that appears to be under the clear glaze and a flaw that occurred during the manufacturing process. ** Cup measures approx. 2 1/4" tall and a little under 4" across at the top. Saucer is approx 6" across at the top. Bottom of the cup is marked O.P.Co, Syracuse China 7-U. Bottom of the saucer is marked O.P.Co Syracuse China 7-X. I found a data codes reference online that says the 7-U is 1940 and the 7-X code is 1945. Please see photos.
