Description: These are portions of three sets of aluminum child's flatware. The largest set, with the knives measuring 3 3/4", has only the word "Germany" stamped on them, and consists of six knives, forks, and spoons, plus one serving spoon. The second and shorter set, with knives measuring 3 1/4", says "Solingen", "Germany", and "Aluminum" in various places, and consists of 4 spoons, and 3 knives and forks. There are also four non-matching spoons, measuring 3 1/4", with no words at all on them. In generally good condition, with one of the smaller forks missing a tine. The previous owner's father served in Germany after WWII, so I believe they date to just after the war. And I am just guessing here, but they may be made from scrapped aircraft.
