There are a number of patterns with the name Jewell; this one is from 1882, and is found with a variety of Rogers marks, as well as unmarked. This is a pattern in the Neo-Classical style of the Civil War era, similar to Persian. Offered here is 4 nutpicks and one pastry fork in Jewell. The nutpicks and pastry fork offered here measure respectively about 5” and about 6". These are not pieces of new silver. They show the patina of as much as 135 years of careful use. There are the light scratches which constitute normal patina. There is no monogram. Silver is softly lustrous. There are a few tiny spots of silver loss on the back of one of the nutpicks. The pattern is crisp and clear. These pieces have been carefully used and well cared for. I polish all silver before listing on eBay. Please email with any questions before bidding.
