Description: Set of eight nice working gouges of various widths and sweeps. They are unmarked but I'm pretty sure they are Sculpture House gouges, made in the USA or Austria. I have a couple of the same brand that look just like this - they're forge finished like Henry Taylor. These come from the estate of a wood carver whose other gouges were mostly Stubai (Austrian) and Hirsch (German). These do have writing on the handles (the previous owners name), but the blades are in good shape. Includes several v gouges, fishtails and varying sweeps. Would make a good set of users.
