These beautiful original antique fixtures are made of solid brass, have new porcelain sockets and updated wiring. They're ready for a new life with you! The brass has a pretty antique gold painted finish, and there are no dents in the brass - just some small marks, and one has some normal hairline cracks in the brass which don't effect the use (see closeups). The antique glass shades have no cracks; one has a tiny chip on the edge which is too small to be noticed when in use. Also, some tiny marks here and there on the shades, but nothing noticed when in use (see closeups). Use one standard-base light bulb up to 100 watts each, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like. Here are details about the restorer: The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burglar alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture of him in photo #24). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art.
