This piece is from the display titled, “Earth Quack”, which was the name of the first ever DuckTales episode in October of 1987! This amazing fiberglass figure served as an actual display in The Disney Store during the 1988 season and was never sold to the public. In 1988 there were only 21 total Disney Stores and it is believed that only 10-20 of these beautifully crafted display figures were created!!! How many of those have survived over the last 36 years? As one of the largest ‘self proclaimed’ Scrooge McDuck collectors in the world, I can say that this is the ultimate Scrooge McDuck collectible! These were never sold in stores and as such, they are highly sought-after by avid collectors. Immensely popular with customers, these oversized character props inspired the highly collectible Disney Big Figs which were sold exclusively through Disney retail stores, parks, and catalogs throughout the late 90s and early 2000s. Scrooge McDuck measures an impressive 25" x 26" and comes with a removable top hat, cane, money bags and gold coins! Scrooge features cloth elements and the overall condition is in very good condition! These were removed by contractors and thus, always susceptible to damage! Some light scuffs are expected, but with this Scrooge being 36 years old the condition is very very good! He displays so incredibly well and will make your collection complete!
