There is a Velcro piece at the back top to secure it closed and has an elastic waistband. Made of 100% polyester exclusive of trim. Size medium. I am not sure which age this translates to but the measurements are included below. APPROXIMATE MEASUREMENTS FOR DRESS (WHILE LYING FLAT): BUST (ARMPIT TO ARMPIT): 12” SLEEVE LENGTH: 7½” WAIST: 8½” LENGTH (TOP OF SHOULDER TO BOTTOM OF DRESS): 30” There is handwriting on the tag but this cannot be seen when worn and does not affect the functionality of the costume. I noticed some “runs” on the right sleeve but this is barely noticeable when worn unless you look carefully and pull on the fabric. Otherwise, in excellent used condition.
