Description: This is a RARE Antique Venetian Fancy Foil beaded necklace. It is unique in that the foil is on the outside of the glass bead. These came to me in very very poor condition. Dirty beads strung on broken sinew. I painstakingly cleaned each bead and decided that these beads were a great example of Venetian bead making them worthy of keeping. The colors are delicate and create a beautiful effect when worn. Necklace is 21" long making this a choker style necklace. There are 50 Venetian fancy foil glass beads that measure 7 mm. The silver tone vintage clasp is a slide in and click type of clasp. I strung these beads on plastic coated silver wire and added the 4 mm sterling silver accent beads to add a little space in between the beads. Beads are in good condition. There is decor loss. There is some tarnish on some of the exposed parts of the silver foil. Since these glass beads are made by hand there will be variations in style, size, and decor.
