Description: This beautiful fine bone china teacup and saucer set commemorate the Royal Visit of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip to Canada in 1959. Made by Royal Albert in England.This rare and collectible royal set are in very good condition. Both teacup and saucer have an image of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip surrounded by a Laurel wreath and Pink Roses with the Maple Leaf - symbolizing Canada.Roses and a Maple leaf are also on the inside of the cup and gold gilt is on all edges and rims. The glaze is shiny and there are no cracks, chips, or crazing. The set is clean with no stains. There is a slight manufacturer's imperfection on the foot of the teacup by way of an extra 1-2 dots of gold gilt. There is also some minor wear on the gold gilt near the bottom of the handle of the teacup. Please see the photos. The saucer is 5.5" or 14cm across. Delivery is available only in the continental US.
