Description: This original, boxed copy of Pokemon Blue for the classic Gameboy has been in my collection for two decades. It contains all the original documentation, including the Trainer’s Guide, full of tips and illustrations from Pokémon’s original American release. The box’s art is all intact, with no sun bleaching or fading present. The surface is smooth and has been kept clean in a sealed case. As the pictures will show, the cardboard has not aged well, especially not after a couple moves. The opening at the top is reaching outward, no longer sealing completely unless you press it down. And one of the side flaps has begun to peel. Nevertheless, the field guide is in practically perfect condition, as is the case with all the box’s contents. The cartridge itself is in perfect working condition, with its original battery, and it even till saves. I never wanted to open the cartridge, and I never had to. Works as well as the day I got it.
