Description: We are selling this pair of solid heavy brass sconces. They were handmade in the 1970s. The style is a utilitarian lamps used in early 20th century American homes. They have clean lines but are appealing to the eye. The small studio that made these used only the highest quality components. The lamps have two switches on them. One on socket and one on backplate. (yes, its a little overkill ) Keep in mind you can hang these with shades going up which can be interesting and shed light off the ceiling . Because of age, if you look closely you may see some small tarnish spots. Very common on brass fixtures. Really doesn't take away from the look and feel of the lamps. Note. We showed the lamps with different shades but the shades are not included with lamp. There are many good old shades available as well as quality reproductions. Note #2. The orangey shades are listed in another sale. They were mouthblown in Europe. Quite striking lit or not . eBay item number:175848549187
