ONE YALE # 1500 MK MORTISE LOCK w/KEY -FULLY RESTORED w/ BLACK OUT FACE- CIRCA 1927 (40839)Vintage, featured in the 1927 Yale & Towne hardware catalog, very nice mortise lock complete set with a steel blacked out faceplate. Key works just fine, reconditioned, mortise lock is fully functioning and carries a YALE logo on the side panel. Measurements as follows: FACEPLATE: 6 1/8" long, 1 1/8" wide, 1/8" thick. BOX: Box is 3 9/16" deep from the front edge of the faceplate to the back of the box and it is 4 1/4" top to bottom. SCREWS: Screw holes are on 5 1/8" centers. BACKSET: Set back from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole is 2 3/4". DROP: The drop, the distance from the center of the knob post hole down to the center of the round portion at the top of the key hole, is 2 3/4". KNOB POST: The lock accepts a standard 5/16" knob shaft or know post. KEY: Functioning key provided with the lock.REVERSIBILITY: The lock is reversible.
