Description: For sale is an Antique 18th to early 19th C Pennsylvania REDWARE plate/shallow bowl with beautiful slip design. The slip design is very unique and bold, highly abstract style! The glaze has authentic crackled look with some minor losses. There is a rich pumpkin-brown colored background of the most desirable kind. Old fire-baked back is beautifully blackened. Authenticity is guaranteed. The plate measures approximately 10” in diameter. The plate is in good antique condition with some old rim chips. No cracks or hairlines detected. Other age appropriate surface wear and imperfections as shown in the photos. Please check all photos for detailed condition. Selling as is. No return. Overall, this is a great early American redware display item ready to be added to your primitive/country/ early Americana/American folk art collection. Feel free to check out my other antique and collectible listings. I gladly combine shipping whenever practical.
