CONDITION NOTES: All volumes - notable dulling and slight darkening to spine titles. Light shelfwear, moderate at spine ends, mild faint splotching to boards, moderate discoloration to two volumes (see photos). Pages and endpapers clean and unmarked. B&W frontis plates and their tissue guards VG. No foxing. Bindings sound but not tight; slightly loose front hinges on a couple of volumes. Endpapers gutters intact, no cracks. Individual volume notes: v2, rront hinge loose; v5, front hinge loosening; v6m area of discoloration (slight bleaching) to front board; v6&7, 1cm tear at spine top; v8. small chip from top corner of first blank page, v12 - discoloration to spine and along spine side of front board (see photo).
