Price Includes Shipping in USA This is a Meade dust cap for 4.5" newtonian long tube reflectors (long tubes are about 36" long). This one is slightly smaller than the short tube dust cap. it fits inside a tube that measures 4-13/16" in diameter. It has a lip of 1/2" deep that keeps it the tube. It fits at the top end of the tube and keeps dust out. Very important as you don't want to clean the mirrors. The coatings rub off and get scratched very very easily. Sometimes if you just look at them wrong. Anyway, if you have a Meade long tube Newtonian with a 4.5" mirror this should fit if it was made after 1990.
