Description: This skirt comes from the personal collection of Hollywood wardrobe man and costumer Kent Warner. It is Marilyn Monroe's personally owned and worn black wool A-line wrap skirt, lined. It closes with three push buttons and four vertical Rhinestone buttons in the front. There is also a pocket on each side of the skirt that blends in well. It is a hand made, one of a kind skirt. It is approximately 26" around the waist and 37" in length. Kent worked as a wardrobe man and costumer for many years in Hollywood, and he met and became friends with Marilyn when he first moved to Los Angeles. She was very kind to Kent and when she found out that he collected personal items from all of his famous friends, she very generously gave him this skirt directly from her personal wardrobe. This skirt is in very good condition, (see "Condition Description"). It comes with a signed letter of provenance from Kent Warner, dated 5/16/1980 and a Gotta Have Rock & Roll Certificate of Authenticity.
