Here is a genuine piece of meteorite that fell to Earth from the Moon. It is Feldspathic Breccia. Classified as NWA (North West Africa) 13974, it was one of many small pieces found in Morocco in 2021. The classifications are done by The Nomenclature Committee (NomCom) of The Meteoritical Society. Places where the surrounding land has no igneous rock, such as the Sahara Desert, or the Antarctic Ice Shelf, are where meteorites stand out the most. Even so, they are quite rare. There has never been a lunar meteorite identified from the Americas or Europe. This measures about .43" by .34" by .14" (varies, see photos). It weighs 0.46 grams. We invite you to visit our store.
