Manufactured by: US Mint Comments: This Liberty Seated Quarter sized Love Token is in very nice original condition. A pin had been put on the backside, but the bar has been removed (the hinge side pieces is still in place). The obverse was nicely engraved and has good detailing, and a few light scratches. The reverse was very well struck and has nice strong details on the eagle’s feathers. The obverse has some light abrasions, due to normal handling and storage. It has not been cleaned and has nice original color. I cannot tell if the last initial is an “O” or a “Q”. The coin had no motto above the eagle, so it was minted between 1838-53.
