Description: Distributor from a running 1978 AMC 304 which used the Motorcraft ignition (not the older Prestolite). This will fit other AMC V8 such as 360 and 401. Gear was replaced with a new aftermarket gear but we did not end up needing to reinstall this so the gear has zero wear. The locking tab on the distributor harness is missing but it stays plugged in. Ended up going with aftermarket ignition on this engine so we do not need the original distributor.
