Incredible French Victorian Solid Burled Walnut Sideboard & Glass Top

Description: Offered here is this Beautiful Victorian Solid Burled Walnut Sideboard and Glass Top and Beveled Mirror. The sideboard is in amazing condition, with very little sign of wear at all. It is the original finish and the mirror has the original glass intact. There are some visible seams on the burled top, and it does have some holes from wood beetles, but it has been treated, and should not have any more issues. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece, but I do know that it comes from France, and was originally contructed between 1850 and 1880. The sideboard has short cabriole reverse scroll feet. It has a custom cut glass topper, that has been reverse painted with a black finish, and gold trim accents. This finish is worn off of the back in a few small areas around the outer perimeter. The glass topper is one inch shorter in width than the sideboard, to allow the placement of the mirror at the back. The sideboard has carved accents all around the perimeter trim at top and bottom, which has a beautiful burled finish. The mirror has some wear to the reflective surface at some areas around the outer perimeter. It is a custom cut shape that compliments the serpentine shape of the sideboard. The sideboard is 38.5" tall, 78.5" long, and 23" wide and is 72.5" tall at the top of the mirror. This is an incredible French Victorian sideboard with amazing detail, and original finish.
