Minor scattered foxing throughout the textblocks.A married set, but both in the original brown cloth binding and in similar condition. Volume II is an historic, and possibly unique copy as it is dated and inscribed on the publication date of the book, March 20th 1852. This is obviously the earliest dated inscription possible for Uncle Tom's Cabin, and makes this copy particularly desirable. Three signatures that were previously missing were replaced from another copy of the same publication, making the text complete.
