In addition to the three bolts for across the front, this kit contains four more bolts that attach the fairing to the bike. Two of those are located near the speakers and the other two are lower between the forks. And finally there are three large diameter rubber backed stainless washers for the front and four small diameter stainless washers that tuck under the fairing attached in bolts. Each component of our seat bolt kit is made of grade 18-8 stainless steel to prevent rust forever. This is a quick, easy and inexpensive up-grade for your bike. The factory installed fairing bolts had Torx heads for robotic assembly. These shallow socket fasteners work fine when installed with perfectly aligned robotic arms. But when removed and re-installed by human arms those shallow sockets often strip. If you replace the originals with our much deeper, socket button head bolts, the strip-outs will go away.
