This rooster is even more elegant and beautiful in person, with great classic embossed details and beautiful jadeite color. This big dish is quite sturdy and made from very heavy, very thick glass. He stands tall at approx. 8.5" tall and is in overall excellent condition, however please note these roosters have a small hairline crack in the top comb. I purchased several of these jadeite rooster dishes at a discount due to the flaw, and am passing along the savings to you! Each rooster has a small hairline crack on the top comb, but it is not structural and no danger of breaking (no more than any other glass item!). The one in the photo is the worst of the bunch; it has the most pronounced and longest crack. I wanted to show the worst one to be safe; most are either not as long or as pronounced / noticeable as the one in the photo. There may be a couple that have more than one crack in the top comb, but if that is the case they will not be as long as this crack, and not as noticeable / pronounced either.
