Description: Go-Kart electric motor mount complete with frame clamps and high grade fasteners. Fits directly on the frame rails like a gas engine mount. This is suited for competitive Kart racing at all levels. New current production, designed for the usual 30mm diameter frame rails with standard Euro/US spacing and manufactured at our facility in Oregon USA. The base is made of high-quality heat treated cast 356 aluminum and accurately machined. The motor plate is 5/16" thick laser cut 5052 aluminum. The plate is drilled for attachment to the base and has a machined counterbore and hole pattern that fits most Motenergy motors up to ~8" diameter. (Four .391" holes on a 5.875" bolt circle around a 4.500" x .156" deep counterbore). The price is for a single motor mount assembly with frame clamps and hardware. Weight with hardware: 3.6 lb. If you wish to buy these in quantity, we can custom machine the plate to fit any bolt pattern. Give us the qty and dimension specs and we will quote. We highly recommend a belt/chain guard which is sold separately. If you're using a tooth belt, you will need one to keep track debris from ruining your belt and pulleys. Also, the importance of a protective cover to keep fingers and loose clothing out of your drive system cannot be overstated.
