Description: For sale is a fully restored original GM LS6 intake. This aluminum intake manifold was removed from a 1970 Chevelle BBC LS6 454 and restored to its original state by Jerry Mcneish. This is an Original GM aluminum intake for a Big Block Chevy engine with retangular port heads and a Holley carb. The casting number is 3962569. The 3963569 intake was used by GM on the following applications: 1970 L78 396(402)/375HP and 1970-1971 LS6 454/450HP engines. This intake is an original piece, but I can’t see the casting date. The casting date is on the underside of the intake below the heat shield and cannot be seen when installed. These original 3963569 intakes are getting very hard to find in nice condition. Don't miss this one. This intake is in very good condition overall. It is in bare aluminum finish with no paints or coatings, was restored professionally by Jerry Mcneish from Camaro Hi Performance . It looks more like a piece of jewelry than a mechanical part. Ready to bolt on and use. The part number and infamous Winter's foundry snowflake logo are intact and undisturbed as shown.
