Description: This used 5,000 German mark note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Imperial Bank. It is a lilac, brown, green, and blue note that is dated 19 November 1922, bear the signatures of Havenstein & von Glasenapp, von Grimm, Kauffmann, Schneider, Budczies, Bernhard, Seiffert, Vocke, Friedrich, Fuchs, and P. Schneider, and measures 189 mm x 107 mm. Its obverse side features the man from Man with Child by Barthel Beham, the imperial eagle, and Reichsbank seals. Its reverse side shows guilloches. Though the note does not have a security thread, it has a watermark of the phrase “5000 Mark” in a spiral. The note was withdrawn in 1925.
