Description: Thanks for checking out this listing! The vital statistics: one 1913-D German States - Bavaria 3 mark coin, KM# 996, silver 0.900 fineness, 16.6670 g (0.59 oz.) weight, actual silver weight 0.4823 troy oz., 33 mm (1.3 in.) diameter. This coin is in extremely fine condition. Details of the coin's designs are clear and sharp. All letters and numerals are crisp and legible. Gentle wear can be seen on the coin's highest surfaces - e.g. the hairlines on the obverse bust of Otto and the fine details of the reverse imperial eagle device. The two pairs of images were taken in the same location and under the same light. Only the background is different. I've found that for some reason a white background gives better image resolution, though it also gives silver coins a misleading golden hue. The item in the photo is the one you would receive upon purchase. This is a raw coin, offered for sale as is. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase when you receive it, I'll be happy to accept it back and to refund your purchase price.
