Description: Original German WWII Etched Artillery 98k Bayonet by FW Höller, all original except replacement grip scale. The blade has "My Time in Service" with the tank, artillery gunner, and machine gunner. One grip scale looks to have been replaced with a handmade copy of the original scale. The replacement doesn't fit quite correctly and has a gap at one end of the scale. The blade is in fair to good condition and shows several chips and scratches. There is wear to the plating on the reverse side of the blade and some on the engraved side as well. It has a fair patent leather black frog. The bayonet, frog, and scabbard look to be all original but do show signs of wear and extreme use. Overall length is 12 1/2" and condition is about 70%. Thank you for visiting the store.
